Employee Badges

Employee Badges serve as a valuable tool for highlighting specific employees within your organization, making them stand out to both internal teams and customers. These badges can denote special skills, unique services, or notable achievements that set an employee apart from their peers. For instance, an “Exclusive” badge might indicate that the employee is highly requested due to their exceptional performance or expertise in a particular area, such as a unique service offering or specialized training.

Imagine a scenario in a spa setting where customers can book appointments with various therapists. If one therapist has an “Exclusive” badge, clients will immediately recognize them as a preferred choice, enhancing their booking experience. This badge not only helps the therapist attract more appointments but also instills confidence in clients, knowing they are selecting someone recognized for excellence.

Please note that Employee Badges are not included in the Amelia Starter license.

Configuring Badges

When you access an employee’s profile, you’ll see a dropdown menu for badges. The default badges available in Amelia are “Most Popular,” “Top Performer,” and “Exclusive.” You can choose one of these default badges by simply clicking on it. If you prefer to customize your badges, click on Manage Badges. This will open a new window where you can edit existing badges or add new ones.

The Manage Badges option opens a new side menu where you can create new badges and expand or edit existing ones. Badges serve a straightforward purpose: highlighting an employee or their unique skills. You can adjust only their name and color to suit your needs.

Employee Badges can only be created and configured by Admins and Managers from the back-end; employees cannot configure them via the Employee Panel.
