Amelia 9.3 brings several practical improvements designed to make scheduling and event management easier.

This release focuses on features that help users manage staff availability more efficiently, handle event-related data more easily, and gain more control over how events are displayed on the front end.

Calendar Block Time

One of the most useful additions in Amelia 9.3 is Calendar Block Time. Users can now quickly block one or more time slots directly from the calendar, which makes it much easier to prevent new bookings for selected staff when needed. This is especially helpful for breaks, internal meetings, schedule changes, or any other periods when staff should not be available for booking.

A key advantage of this feature is that blocked periods stay visually separate from regular appointments. Instead of creating manual placeholder bookings just to reserve time, users can now manage unavailable periods in a cleaner and more organized way.

Event Bookings Export

The update also introduces event bookings export from the Events tab. Users can now export key booking details directly, which makes it easier to review attendee information, manage records, and handle event-related admin tasks more efficiently.

This improvement is especially useful for businesses and teams that need quick access to booking data for reporting, organization, or follow-up communication. Instead of manually collecting information, users can now export key details in a more efficient way and simplify event management workflows.

Event List Date Range Filtering

Another new feature is event list date range filtering. Users can choose to display all events, future events, past events, or a custom date range, which gives them more control over how events appear on the page. This gives more flexibility when managing multiple event lists across different pages, since each list can be controlled independently.

Gutenberg Block API v3 Support

Amelia 9.3 also updates compatibility with Gutenberg Block API v3. This helps ensure Amelia blocks continue to function correctly in the latest version of the WordPress editor and supports a smoother editing experience.
