Every great partnership in WordPress starts the same way — with shared values, love for simplicity, drive to make the web better, and a belief that when tools and people connect, everyone wins.
That’s exactly what brought Amelia and Seahawk Media together.
About Seahawk Media
Seahawk Media is a full-service WordPress agency that specializes in website design, development, and growth marketing. Their team helps brands such as DreamHost, GoDaddy, and Convesio create professional WordPress websites and manage them with ease.
From custom site builds and migrations to performance optimization and branding, Seahawk’s services empower both agencies and individual business owners to focus on what they do best while Seahawk handles the technical side.
Their mission is simple: make professional WordPress services accessible to everyone, from startups to global enterprises.
That’s why this partnership felt natural from the start.
At Amelia, our mission has always been to simplify booking and scheduling for businesses everywhere. Seahawk does the same for websites and growth. Together, we’re bridging two sides of the same goal: helping WordPress users do more with less friction.
Why This Partnership Matters
Both Amelia and Seahawk Media are deeply rooted in the WordPress ecosystem, and both aim to make WordPress easier and more powerful for everyone.
Through this partnership, we’ll work together on:
- Education and awareness: sharing knowledge and insights with the WordPress community.
- Ecosystem building: ensuring smoother workflows for agencies using Amelia and Seahawk’s services.
- Community collaboration: participating together in WordCamps, podcasts, and other WordPress events.
This collaboration marks another step in our shared commitment to building a more connected, accessible WordPress experience.
That’s Not All: Alexander Gilmanov on the WP Legends Podcast
To celebrate this partnership, our CEO, Alexander Gilmanov, recently joined Seahawk Media’s WP Legends Podcast to discuss his journey, the growth of Melograno Venture Studio, and the future of WordPress products with the podcast’s host Gautam Khorana.
You can watch the full interview on Seahawk Media’s YouTube channel or check out some of the most interesting highlights below:
🔹 From freelance to founder
Alexander shared how his WordPress journey began—first as a lecturer and freelancer, later moving to Serbia to pursue programming. What started as small freelance projects evolved into building WordPress plugins, including wpDataTables, which began as a “pet project” but grew into TMS’s first flagship product.
“I didn’t expect back then that WordPress would become this big. wpDataTables was a side project that turned into something much larger; the first flagship product that helped launch the company.”
🔹 How TMS became Melograno Ecosystem
TMS grew organically, with each product developed like its own mini startup. Today, the company has evolved into Melograno Venture Studio — an umbrella brand dedicated to nurturing independent, yet complementary, products that thrive together within one ecosystem.
“With TMS, each product was its own small business. Over time, they started connecting more deeply, and now with Melograno Ventures we’re building an ecosystem—developing integrations, bundles, and complete solutions that make WordPress a better place for users.”
🔹 The power of simplicity
When asked about trends shaping WordPress, Alexander highlighted simplicity as the key success factor.
“Simplicity is the key. Tools like Elementor and Astra are trying to make things easier for users. Even hosting companies like Hostinger and SiteGround are simplifying their offerings—but it’s a challenge. Everyone’s looking for that all-in-one solution.”
🔹 AI as an amplifier, not a replacement
AI’s role in booking, scheduling, and data management was another hot topic. Alexander emphasized that AI should enhance productivity, not replace human expertise.
“AI is an amplifier. It can automate and simplify what you already do well. We’re experimenting with AI-powered booking experiences and smart configurators, but people still want intuitive forms. It’s all about balance.”
🔹 Lessons learned along the way
Reflecting on his journey, Alexander shared a candid insight about mistakes and growth.
“There’s rarely one big mistake — it’s usually a collection of smaller ones. Hiring mismatches, for example, or spending too much time protecting ideas instead of sharing them. You don’t need to be secretive about your vision — execution is what makes it successful. The more you talk to people and network, the faster you learn and grow.”
He also offered a word of advice to anyone starting in agency work:
“If your long-term goal is to move into product development, don’t wait too long to make that transition.”
